Saturday Night Welcome Party
We want everyones arrival to be stress free and fun as we kick off the 2024 Reunion! The Reunion Team is planning a welcome dinner for everyone! Crepes by the Lakes food truck will be at Hop and Vine from 5:30-7:30 serving both dinner and dessert crepes. The Reunion Team will be providing a welcome drink (alcoholic and NA) and sides to go along with your crepes. There will also be a viewing of a Trevisan Reunion highlight video and some welcome games in the dining room once everyone arrives. Drop your stuff, settle in, then come down to eat, drink and celebrate Reunion 2024!Â
Sunday Morning: Yoga
Join a Yoga practice led by Julie from 8:00am-9:00am Sunday morning. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, but Julie will have a few extras available!
Sunday Morning: Mass
Mass will be at Saint Peter Catholic Church (108 St. Peter Drive, Douglas, MI 49406) at 10:30am
Sunday Afternoon: Family Photo
Reunion T-shirts will be in your room upon arrival. Please don them Sunday Afternoon/Evening. We will be gathering before dinner to take our full family photo in the backyard.
Sunday Evening: Family Olympics
This will be an all age friendly competition after dinner in the backyard. Bring your (friendly) competitive spirit!! Raincheck date: Monday Evening
Monday Morning: Paddling Trip
We will be paddling with Water Trail Ventures Monday morning at 10am. It will be a 5 mile paddle, around 2.5 hours to complete. If you had RSVPed that you were interested in joining us on the paddling trip, we will be reaching out separately with more information on carpools and payments.
Monday Evening: Campfire
Although we know fires will be happening all week long, we'd like to set aside Monday evening as an official group bonfire to make sure we have a time to roast s'mores, sing songs, and share stories all together!
Tuesday Morning: Book Club
For those interested, please join us for a Reunion Book Club at 8:00am. We will be discussing Nowhere for Very Long - The Unexpected Road to an Unconventional Life, by Brianna Madia. This is a story about two dogs, a woman, her husband, and a beat-up orange van named Bertha. Together they journey through and within the deserts and canyons of the American West. In doing so, they discover things outside and inside themselves.Grab your coffee and join this optional, informal book club chat!
Tuesday: Lake Michigan Beach Day
Some showed interest in an organized beach trip, so we are setting aside Tuesday as our official Lake Michigan Day! Hop and Vine does have sand toy kits provided at the house for those with littles.
Tuesday Evening: Old Fasioned Family Fun
After dinner, enjoy some good old fashion family fun for our last night, including bingo and a dance party hosted by the Tuesday dinner team!
